Sea
I really really like the Sea. I used to find it a little cheesy when people said they love the Sea, miss the Sea, need to witness the Sea again. But last year we travel to Rostock and took a brief trip to the Ostsee and I got really excited. The sand under my bare feet. The scent of kelp. The touch of cool waves on my legs. I tried my best to not fall for it, not stay too long. The thought of visiting the Sea again stayed with me, though. And this year we decided to go to Oldenburg and include a day trip to the Nordsee. And it was marvelous once again. The fresh breeze. The Sea hidden behind the elevation of a dike. Seagulls, beach grass. I imagine I could spend a whole day by the Sea. Sehnsucht for a Ferienwohnung.
I took home a glass with water and a glass with sand.
